Loro Piana System®

In this collection of fabrics the quality of the natural fibres is enhanced by exclusive technical solutions to achieve maximum performance. No compromise, just a combination of style and functionality. The membranes applied to the back of the fabric are resistant to wind, water and rain yet maintain an ideal microclimate for the wearer. Not only suitable for businesswear, travelwear, outerwear and leisurewear, these fabrics are also easy-care. The first part of the collection is made of fabrics treated with Rain System® technology, making them water repellent & performing. The second part of the collection is made of fabrics constructed in two or three layers and can be heat-bonded to create seamless garments. How should they be tailored? Follow this sequence: design - cut - sew - fit - heat tape - enjoy the garment.

Loro Piana RAIN SYSTEM®

Rain System® is a water-repellent treatment that can be applied to the surface of all Loro Piana fabrics, invisibly coating each fibre.

Loro Piana STORM SYSTEM®

Storm System® protects fabrics from natural elements, while ensuring the utmost comfort for the wearer. It is based on the Rain System® water-repellent finish, hydrophilic membranes which are waterproof, wind-resistant and breathable, and a third layer of ultra-fine jersey, placed over the GX membrane. Fabrics treated with Storm System® can be used unlined.

Loro Piana GREEN STORM SYSTEM®

Green Storm System® is a treatment that protects fabrics from the elements safeguarding the environment. It is based on the Rain System® water-repellent finish combined with a BIO-BASED hydrophilic membrane made of a special polyurethane that contains more than 50% renewable, plant-based materials.

Loro Piana CLIMA SYSTEM®

Clima System® is an innovative system that delivers unparalleled thermal comfort. Fabrics crafted from the finest fibres are combined with a membrane containing graphene, the thinnest material in the world. When worn, this exceptionally durable, natural material captures the body's heat and distributes it throughout the garment, ensuring an optimum temperature in just five minutes.
