FABRIC & CARE

Loro Piana presents its new collection of jersey, the fabric created without a warp and weft structure, but by looping a single strand of yarn. It originated on the island of Jersey in the late 1800s, where it was used to make work clothes for the local fishermen - comfortable, robust garments ideal for their hard life at sea. Now it is known for its enveloping comfort, two-way stretch and ability to adapt to the wearer's movements. In precious cashmere or wool, used pure or blended with other superlative quality fibres, available in a vast range of solid shades and patterns, in knit stitches and refined looks, with different finishes and in different weights to fulfil the needs of those who want unique, customized pieces that consummately combine casual and luxury.
