Amanjeda by Katrin Kuldma
Tõnis Mägi
On April 24, beneath the vaulted ceilings of Niguliste Church, an extraordinary encounter unfolded where fashion and music merged into a unified artistic experience. Amanjeda by Katrin Kuldma presented a vision of soulful Northern luxury, enriched by the deeply expressive music of Tõnis Mägi. The evening carried a sense of peace, beauty, and balance, offering the audience a moment to step away from the everyday and enter a space where time seemed to pause. It was not merely a fashion show or a concert, but a journey through emotion, values, and inspiration.
It was an evening where different generations and worlds met — in mutual respect and inspiration
Tõnis Mägi — one of Estonia’s most influential singers, songwriters, and composers — a timeless voice whose music has shaped both culture and identity. Rising to prominence in the shadow of the Iron Curtain, his distinctive sound and emotionally powerful performances quickly set him apart.
His work became deeply intertwined with Estonia’s path to independence, with songs like “Koit” and "Palve" resonating as symbols of national awakening. Over the decades, Mägi has remained a defining cultural figure, his artistry carrying both historical depth and quiet intensity.
In collaboration with Amanjeda by Katrin Kuldma, his legacy meets contemporary luxury — where music, heritage, and design come together in a moment that is both refined and unforgettable.
On April 24, Amanjeda by Katrin Kuldma returned to the historic Niguliste Church in Tallinn, where an extraordinary evening unfolded at the intersection of fashion and music. For one night, this art-filled sanctuary transformed into a dreamlike stage of elegance, emotion, and beauty.
The event payed tribute to a tradition established in 1998 by Katrin Kuldma — bringing fashion and music together to create powerful cultural experiences. This evening reimagined that vision with renewed depth and refinement.
Kuldma’s timeless aesthetic meets the soulful and introspective music of Tõnis Mägi, creating an atmosphere where time seems to pause. The philosophy of Amanjeda speaks of peace, balance, and stillness — qualities that resonate deeply with Mägi’s artistic expression. The evening invites the audience to step away from the everyday and enter a space of dreaming and reflection.
A rich new collection took the stage: elegant tailoring, ceremonial bridal gowns, refined safari ensembles, and luxurious eveningwear. The finest natural materials and the craftsmanship of Estonian artisans brought to life garments that embody respect for people, tradition, and nature.
The musical journey was led by Tõnis Mägi, performing both new and legendary works in a powerful yet minimalist setting on Estonia piano, accompanied by the guitar of Ain Agan. The designs were complemented by the distinctive jewellery of Karin Kersa, and presented by Estonia’s leading models.
The collection was further enriched by emerging designers Eva Arvisto, Lisanna Jüriso, and Carmen Triini Tälli, whose fresh creative energy, combined with the experience of the fashion house, created a truly distinctive result.
This was an evening where beauty, music, and stillness converged — a moment where reality faded, and the mind was free to wander.
In September 1998, the Katrin Kuldma fashion house held its very first show at Niguliste Church. It was also the first fashion show of its kind in Estonia. Twenty years later, Niguliste, fashion, and music came together once again. The exceptional atmosphere of Niguliste Church continues to inspire.
Music holds a special place in Amanjeda fashion shows — in 1998 featuring Saxappeal Band and Villu Veski; in 2018 the Tallinn Boys’ Choir conducted by Lydia Rahula, Annely Peebo, Elina Nechayeva, and an ERSO quintet. Tõnis Mägi last performed at Niguliste approximately 40 years ago. His powerful music resonates with the space of Niguliste in a truly exceptional way.
The fairytale eveningwear and bridal gowns, along with ceremonial suits by AMANJEDA by Katrin Kuldma, will create a captivating visual experience.
This evening became a tribute — an expression of respect and appreciation.
A tribute to those, whose life experience, wisdom, and dignity create a foundation we can all learn from. A tribute to young creators at the beginning of their journey — whose courage and fresh perspective shape the future. And a tribute to masters of their craft — whose dedication, passion, and excellence continue to inspire and are the foundation of creating beauty.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this evening possible,
to Bentley Tallinn and Christies Signature Real Estate,

We thank as well all the models and the technical team whose professionalism shaped the experience.
We extend our gratitude to the entire Amanjeda team for their dedication. And of course, the deep hommage belongs to the team of Niguliste Museum.
We thank Karin Kersa for her distinctive jewellery creations.
